Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website at wattridge.com, referred to here as Watt Ridge or the site. By visiting the site, reading a guide, following a link, or leaving a comment, you agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Affiliate Disclosure, Terms of Use, and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.

Who may use the site

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, or at least 13 years old with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The subject matter involves fuel, engines, high current wiring, and mains voltage, so it is written for adults who are legally able to make purchasing and installation decisions.

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not restrict anyone else’s use of it.

We are not responsible for their conduct, their delivery, their returns policy, or their after sales support.

Comments and user content

Where comments are enabled, you are responsible for what you post. By submitting a comment you grant Watt Ridge a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to display, store, reproduce, and moderate that content on the site. You confirm that it is yours to post and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

The following will be removed without notice: spam and promotional posting, abuse, harassment, hate speech, threats, personal information belonging to other people, and instructions encouraging unsafe or illegal electrical work, including advice to backfeed a home through a wall socket. Comments are opinions of the people who write them and are not endorsed or verified by Watt Ridge. We may edit, refuse, or delete any comment at our discretion, and we are under no obligation to publish anything.

All original text, layout, graphics, data presentation, charts, rating systems, and design elements on this site are the property of Watt Ridge and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We work carefully from manufacturer specifications, published documentation, and verified owner reviews, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or free of error. Wattage figures, runtimes, noise levels, fuel consumption, dimensions, and prices are drawn from published sources and vary by model, revision, load, altitude, temperature, fuel quality, and age. Always confirm figures against the manual for the exact model you are considering before you rely on them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Watt Ridge and anyone contributing to it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, property, or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the site or your reliance on its content. A failure to enforce any part of these terms is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
